linaro-boot-utils software package provides Utilities for booting development boards, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install linaro-boot-utils
linaro-boot-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the linaro-boot-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep linaro-boot-utils *
You will get with linaro-boot-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
